We went to Yun-Ho's baptism at the beginning of March. Congratulations Yun-Ho on taking this important step in your life! Hyrum is such a great example to me! I'm learning how to be a better missionary and how to be more actively involved. I like the quote by Sister Beck in
Mothers Who Know. She says "Think of the power of our future missionary force if mothers considered their homes as a pre–missionary training center. Then the doctrines of the gospel taught in the MTC would be a review and not a revelation." I feel like our home is kind of a pre-missionary training center for me as Hyrum and I prepare to serve a senior couples mission. I'm coming to understand moreso how missionary work is key to helping others come closer to Christ and be truly happy.
On March 12th Hyrum had the opportunity to take part in Jiho's baptism. We are so blessed to have the Gospel in our lives! I'm understanding that more and more.

I know I glanced through that book once, but I didn't get a chance to read it clear through while I stood there at Deseret Book. I love that quote. It has become much more real to me now that Vance is waiting for his mission call to come in the mail. I hope I have done enough to prepare him. Good for you guys.
