I know this is REALLY late, Hyrum turned 23 a whole 13 days ago...but better late than never :) He's an old man now...starting to move a little slower and get tired more easily...
Ha! Ha! He's not fooling me! I don't think Hyrum will EVER be an old man. Even when he's 102 he will still be young at heart and probably playing basketball. My Mom sent Hyrum one of her traditional birthday packages. He was so excited to open it! Can you tell?
My Mom wrote little notes to go along with each gift. She sent lots of treats...the perfect gift, especially for our camping adventure!
Hyrum took a test Friday afternoon and then we packed up and headed to Strawberry that night. Hyrum loves the outdoors and liked to go camping for his birthday growing up. Along with Mom's treats we also brought along a perfectly seasoned steak that Hyrum's brother and sister-in-law Bowman and Stephanie gave him for his birthday. Delicious!!!The next day we went fishing and Hyrum caught a whopper! It sure was quite the feast!
Well, maybe it didn't break any records...but it was still exciting!

Later that night we had a surprise party for Hyrum at the park. What a weekend!
