My class had a Halloween parade and party today. I was the teacher from the Black Lagoon. I rode my bike to school and got quite a few stares and honks. What elementary teachers do for their students!
Hyrum and I carved pumpkins tonight. I picked a nice pattern from the pumpkin carving kit and even added my own touch by writing "Home Sweet Home."
Now, in case you didn't already know this, I married a very creative man...he wasn't going with any run-of-the-mill pumpkin pattern. Look at how focused he is!
Here is the finished product! Hyrum's a little worried it might get smashed tonight with how up and down political opinions are...Our one plea is that the pumpkin smashers take out the candles first...it's our nice apple cinnamon one.
